2 for 1 Hotbodies race bodywork sale

So... I just ordered a set of bodywork for my ninja through hotbodiesracing.com, and it popped up that I qualify for a second set of bodywork FREE.

I went ahead and called them to confirm, and they said its true, so I ordered them. With CA state tax it comes out to $299 per COMPLETE set of bodywork (without shipping) plus $120/set shipping. Thats a pretty smokin deal.

Are you selling one of the sets? I read a few bad things about Hotbodies but have never used them.

From what I read Hotbodies is a bit less on quality compared to Sharkskinz, Catalyst, etc... But Hotbodies does have awesome customer service and they have a contingency for the 250 classes, which pushes me towards them because of their race support.

Ill probably be picking up a set sometime this year. Awesome deal by the way, too bad I have to get some maintenance done before I start buying goodies.

Is it 120 / set shipped or both shipped. From the website it looks like the latter. If thats true I might be interested.

I called them and its 120 per set so shipping for both would be 240, that's why I arranged for pick up

cool. Let us know about the quality after you get it. Are you going to sell the spare bodywork? Let me know.

I had no idea you could arrange for local pickup. They are here in San Diego, right?

Picked up the race bodywork this weekend, and I'm not sure what other people are expecting from fiberglass race fairings, but these look great! I test fit them on the bike and they don't snap into place like OEM fairings do, but if you're not the laziest person on earth and have the strength to bend a zip tie, they fit just fine. You do need to drill your own holes, but I think that's a plus for anyone wanting to make a custom front support bracket to replace the super heavy stock one. I'll post pics tomorrow.

EDIT: Here are some photos!

Damn! I should've worked out a deal on that gauge cluster while you were in town.
