Lots of smoke....piston rings shot?

welp i finally got this 250 running....ish. Still working on the carbs but i noticed when it does run, its making alot of smoke (blueish - gray) and also when it sits on the side stand oil is leaking out of somewhere ( pretty sure its the side case, havent tracked it down yet)

In any case, when this thing was only running on one cylinder due to spark issues, could that have damaged the cylinder / piston rings to the point where they would go bad?

Thanks

Joel

No, running on one cylinder didn't damage it.

yeah, the dead cylinder was just coasting along not doing anything.

Compression-test to see condition of the rings and valves. I've got borescope if you want to take a look inside. Although these engines aren't known for burning oil and clogging rings.
