12/19 Ninja Foothills Ride

Since the temps were going to be in the 50s around the North Carolina Foothills north of Lenoir and south of Wilkesboro, decided to take the Ninja for a foothill twisty ride. Had lots of Carolina Blue on hand for the ride and great road conditions.

This was a new road find for me, south of Wilkesboro and another nice twisty

Took this shot while sitting on the Ninja on a fine twisty road

Great place to eat at Rutherford College

Took this shot of Lake Norman on the way home

Lucas,

Good to hear you guys are out riding, too!

Bought some of the "Freeze-Out" cold weather gear from Cycle Gear and staying warm wearing it under my regular riding gear.

Here are some photos from a 12/13 Dual Sport ride at Mortimer, Wilson Creek, and Pineola NC:

Yep, planning on being at the next rally, too.

Here's a great place for a summer rally, with covered motorcycle parking, 3,000 feet above sea level, great roads,
$70 per night rooms at the Diamondback Inn, Little Switzerland NC:

Rt. 181

Blue Ridge Parkway

Diamondback Inn @ Switzerland Inn

Eight Rooms

Covered Motorcycle Parking
