Random non-important ride report

Rode 13 miles through moderate rain and gusty winds, temps in the 50's and falling. Arrived at work with no leaks in my gear (yay) and only a few slips of the tires. There's a curved bridge with grooved concrete decking and moderately tight radius that I go over. The expansion joints have steel plates and my tires slip sideways maybe an inch on each one, giving the bike sort of a shimmy-wiggle. Other than that and the occasional lock and release of the rear brake the ride was uneventful.

Someone really needs to invent a windshield wiper blade that straps to a finger. A search on Bike Bandit didn't yield anything.

Rain-X? Can't tell you if you can use it on your face shield. You need to know what material it is made of.

One thing that works REALLY well is Nikwax's Visor Proof.

Dunno why it got a few low reviews; I've been using it for years and love it. Water just beads right off the visor.

got some joe rocket gloves on sale here for $30. Insulated and waterproof, has a neat little wiper on the thumb.
