In the unfortunate event you are ever forced or coerced into jetting late model Kawasaki Ninja 250's I have a killer tip now. Ignore everything you've read on the Ninjette forums and other sources of supposed knowledge...think back to the days of the Honda CBX. To remove and replace the carbs it is best AND quickest to unbolt the top motor cradle, front motor mount bolt and upper rear motor mount bolt...then loosen the rear axle, give adjusters a huge amount of slack, use a plate style jack to lower the front of the motor down after removing half the exhaust...**** slides right in after that! After trying every posted method for hours I decided to do it this way...and finally, it friggin worked!

That is the dumbest , most random thread, I ever clicked on here (well besides the anti-social guy who doesn't like to wave in public but posts on a public forum about it, irony lol)
If and when I do, I'll follow the proven knowledge here on ninjette.org

That sounds like 5x more effort than just removing tank, tail fairings, and loosening undertail, and airbox. comes right out. 20 min tops. no need to worry about torquingengine mount bolts or needing to pivot the motor.
