[visordown.com] - New Keis heated body warmer

HEATED clothing maker Keis has added a new body warmer to its range which it says delivers double the output of the basic model.

The new Keis X20 Hi Powered Bodywarmer also has a heated collar.

It takes power from the bike's battery. The basic X10 model can either take power from the bike or its own rechargeable battery. Both models can be connected to other Keis heated garments including gloves and in-soles.

The X20 costs £145, £35 more than the X10. As an introductory offer, Keis is throwing in a £29.99 temperature controller.

Keis says: "Made from breathable lightweight soft-shell fabric with elasticated side panels, the new X20 Hi-Powered Bodywarmer offers a close and comfortable fit for men and women. Typical power output is 40W, heating strategically positioned Micro Alloy Elements on chest, kidneys and collar. Current draw is just 3.3A, so the X20 can easily be powered from the motorcycle battery, using a Keis Temperature Controller to adjust the heat. To keep it fresh the X20 can be hand-washed and drip-dried.

"Inside the X20 is a power distribution system to supply additional garments (e.g. heated gloves or trousers) and keep cabling to a minimum, with dedicated zipped pockets for cables and controller so they are easy to find. The KEIS X20 bodywarmer is available in sizes 2XS – 3XL (38”-50” chest)."

Price: £145
