Perforated leather jacket recommendation?
So here we are with the heat coming again and I'm now out looking for another jacket.
I have a scorpion All-in leather jacket and I love it to death but it has 2 problems. 1) all black 2) zippered vent's only This makes it great for the colder weathers but terrible for blistering sun weathers and so I've decided to purchase another jacket for the warmer days. How much air do perforated leather jackets flow in comparison to lets say leather jackets with vents, textile jackets with vents, and textile mesh jackets? I love leather because of the added abrasion protection but if the perforation makes it similar to my All-in jacket with vents then I might as well save some cash and go mesh with a liner instead. Thoughts? |

Oh wow. Thanks Jeff. I'm loving the look of the saratoga 2 but I was more looking at how people feel about perforated leather vs leather with vents vs mesh textile. Is perforated leather worth the cost? I understand that perforated leather flows less air than mesh but how much better is it than zippered vents to be worth while?
How are the sizing on the tiez brands? I wear a large in the All-in and it fits decently with a little space to tightly pack a hoodie under with the liner. |

Hey Setasai. That site that you gave me earlier under scorpion, (if you're leaning for perforated scorpion products), they have a new jacket. The guy in the review explained it a bit. It sounded like it had optimal airflow. You can take out the liner too to make it even better. Here's the link: http://stores.sportbiketrackgear.com...etrackgear.com He talks about it a bit. I think perforated is a good way to go. Although its no mesh it's still a bit better protection if you go down. But hey I'm a n00b so what do I know. Lol. Good luck though.
