Smile Tsukigi Full System SS/SS

I've been looking for an exhaust that I liked. I came across the Slip-On for $248 but that was blow out sale and the vendor no longer was able to sell it for that price. They told me the best price they could get was $350. At that point I decided to see if I could find the Full Exhaust system and that I did. I found it are powersportsuperstore.com (not sure if I put the link in there like that - please remove if its not allowed) for $432. Picked up a Dyno Jet Stage II kit $69 add shipping and the total comes out to be $560 less the 5% discount grand total was $535. I thought it was a pretty good deal since MSRP from Tsukigi's website for the exhaust alone was $549.95 not including shipping.

Let me know what you guys think. I can't wait till it shows up!

I just checked that out... it does look very close. Think they just rebadge it? Looks like the Nojima name cost more? Unsure.. but definitely I good looking exhaust. I hope it gets here in time with the new carbs and jet kit.

I'm in the market for the Nojima.
Is it as loud as I'm hoping it will be?

Rebadging/rebranding/repackaging happens all the time all over our marketplace, as well as outright counterfeit. In fact, many products that are outsourced from any given design house are pretty much 'generic' production for any given factory, mated to specific pipes for each bike, and then stickered and packaged for the individual customer, and they came from the very same production line!

In cases like that, there's often no set limit for factory production (especially in Asia), so the factory 'owns' the extras and sells them to the highest bidder, which is where a lot of so called 'limited edition' and 'special run' products come from. That accounts for you seeing so many products that are big name going for big $$$ and so called knock-offs which appear (because they are) to be the same thing going for discounted prices.

It's like the difference between white and brown eggs. Depending on where you sell 'em dictates the price.
