Question Rearsets - any one experience with these types ?

Well - I'm not considering rearsets for racing - only to give me more knee-room by lowering my knees to fit the tank indents.
As far as I can find, I have three options:

1: Full rearset-set. Very adjustable, but I'm not sure I need/like that my feet are also elevated - price fairly high - installation more complicated (though not overly complicated.

2: Adapter plates for OEM pegs: I like that it moves my feet 2" back, but not sure about the 1" up - fair price - simple installation - keeps stock pegs and controls.

3: Adjustable pegs: available in 25 mm and 40 mm offset - cheapest solution - simple installation, but how much offset is too much ? I'm thinking that with my size 43/11 US (?) there's got to be a limit to how far back and/or down, I can move the pegs before gear and brake pedals starts getting out of toe-reach. Don't expect the extension-arm to be prone to bending - but it could be an issue.

By now I consider option 3 to be the best for my purpose - but does any of U guys have any experience with that type ?
Would be nice with at set of front pegs in same color as original rear pegs - and then throw in (or rather - on) at set of matching adjustable levers ;o)

I've got what I assume you'd categorize as option 1 in the form of "Moth" rearsets:
e.x. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rear-sets-Ka...-/261740135266

They were super easy to install except for the brake light bit (which wasn't that hard to be honest) and gave me plenty of room to adjust where I wanted my feet, I went with maximum to the rear, maximum raise but I'm 5'3" so that played into it.

Super happy, it's not quite super sport positioning but it works well, is comfortable for long trips, and it feels funny to get on a 300/250 with OEM setup nowadays.

I hear you, I'm not looking for super sport, if I want that I just hop on the Gixxer. Im looking for more comfort with me being short the stock rear sets bring my legs to far down and in order to grip the tank I have to tip toe on the pegs a little to much.

I just found out that the 1st gen rearsets fit our bikes. So that saves a lot of money. Still might get the cheap eBay adjustable ones later
