Hot Bodies Race Fairings

new in box, still in primer (no tail)

race upper
race lower
race front wheel

I was going to mount the front and cut it for headlight, but found a decent condition replacement set and went with that just to get back to riding instead of constantly on jack stands. I used the rear tail...I'd be willing to part with it if you have a complete OEM black or red rear tail setup to swap me. the race tail is cut for OEM tail light and already trimmed for bolt on fitment. The other pieces were unboxed once and put back in...they will require minor cut/trim to fit each bike.

new MSRP was 699 plus the shipping.
looking to get 250 for the panels I have, or same with trade.

this is how the tail looks with a couple hours of fitment dialing in. takes some patience, but these are nice pieces

I forgot to mention that I also have the race front fairing stay that I will include with purchase. It’s an aluminum lightweight unit that is also brand new in box

The "race fairing front stay" you have, that is to remove the headlight correct? Will it allow mounting of the gauges? My wife is converting her 250 into track only so this would be perfect.

Yes the fairing stay (bracket) is the first picture in post 6. It bolts to the steering stem then the new nose/front race fairing. The race fairing has no cutout for a headlight as it is a race fairing. Most people just zip tie the stock cluster to this fairing stay until they can afford to purchase a Koso or other cluster

I have not mounted the belly pan yet but test fitted it, fits nice how I have the main fairing done. The headlight “bucket” is detachable. I kept the cutout so it could be re glassed closed quickly and made this plexiglass cover for it for street use. The headlight bucket and projector headlight would be included in sale

The rx2n knockoff cluster and the wiring (plug and play) could be included along with the mount to the headlight fairing bracket at additional cost

NJ

Most of the quotes I have gotten people are $150 to $250. You get hammered in dimensional weight

edit: Box is 22x23x40. Weight is about 10lbs, but dimensional weight really increases that. I could probably cut the box down a few inches in each direction since no tail, but not sure that's worth compromising the contents over. fiberglass in shipping needs a lot of packing material

Here's a great way to ship large packages: http://busfreighter.com
Only catch is it's not door-to-door; have to go pick up at bus station.
I recently shipped 4x BBS race-wheels and 6x tyres cross-country for $156.

thanks, they were MUCH more competitive than USPS/Fedex/UPS. a bit cheaper than greyhound but not sure if I'm using their site right. uship.com is hit or miss because people bid on it, you can't really get a quote.

I'd imagine Hot Bodies has some sort of commercial account (it shipped fedex) where they get massive discounts for a high volume of shipments with them. I can't see them eating $150/set.
