Dropped it like a tool

Dropped my bike today. Now I notice a squeaky sound coming from the gas tank. Like air being pushed out. I opened it and the sound stopped, but when I close it, the sound came back after a while.
Any hints >_>?

is it like a whistling sound?

its the tank venting out extra gases from evaporation inside the tank. it is perfectly normal. i have those too especially on a very hot summer day.

If it sounds like a crying baby, that is normal.

Curious. How long does the sound last for and how loud is it?

Mine sounds like a cat sometimes. When my boss first heard it she laughed, couldn't believe it came from my tank. I have five cats so it's like theyr'e talking to the bike to tell mommy to come home.
