Clean air gone! Question though.
So removing the clean air system took care of crackling at lower rpms while decelerating. I have a CA bike so there were quite a few tubes involved with the clean air system.
I also took the time to tap the 2 carb vacuum tubes for syncing when I need to. I have one question: from the dealer I got my bike and there was a loose hose, coming up from the middle of the heads, which seemed to fit over the fuel sending unit's outlet fairly well. Is it supposed to, or is the sender/tube supposed to be in open air? |

Hey, I'm in CA also.
Does this mod affect emissions at all? Cause you know...we got that smog thing for bikes coming in 2012. |
