CL find: 2011 250r $800 needs engine

This looks like it'd be a great foundation for a track bike. You'll need to find a new engine for it. No affiliation.

hahaha. first owner siezes the engine somehow (nice work PO) then lets it sit outside, meanwhile some punk comes and picks it up in his truck and takes off... except ... oops, engines toast. time to sell it on craigslist

While that would explain the lost keys, would that punk have ended up with the title?

And what's the deal with the gas cap (or rather lack of one)?

Not a insurance bike, I would say PO is an absolute moron. If the title shows "1" mile or has less than 200 miles showing, and the guys name is on the title, he was just an idiot and didnt take care of his bike.

The fact that the gas cap is missing, suggests that it was stolen however. The ignition does not appeared to be messed with though (but if it was hotwired, that evidence is under the gas tank on the wiring harness)

You can easily seize a motor if you forget to reinstall the oil drain plug after an oil change. Oil? Whats that?

If the gent that is selling it has an ID that matches the name on the title... BUY THIS.

I have 7 motors for sale now, ranging in price from $300-500 (shipped)

Doubt it. More than likely the owner is just a moron. Check his I'd and check the title.

email him and ask if he takes paypal... also that your friend will be coming to pick it up but it's ok, you'll include an extra $500 for the trouble.
