Back on the road again...

It was a long and cold winter and today I put my 2fiddy back on the road.

I pulled it out of storage this morning put in the battery and a new air filter. I then primed the carbs and fired it right up. While it was warming up I checked the tire pressure and topped them up. After warming it up I dumped the oil, changed the filter and switched to synthetic. The last thing to be done was putting my new twowheels brake levers.

I added a little carb cleaner and away we went on my first ride of the year. Ahhhhh what a feeling!!! You all know what I mean and it was great.

Cheers to all

Nice! I wish I know what you meant but won't have my first ride until sometime next month. How do you like those levers?

Side note: Isn't it better to warm it up by riding?

The levers are great. They look good and were a breeze to install. Being able to adjust them closer to the bars is fantastic (yeah I have smaller hands).

As for warming it up, all I wanted to do was warm the oil and get it flowing so I could dump it.
