Post your speculation who Rey's parents are. You know it's somebody important, specially because Kylo Ren told Rey that her parents were nobodies.

I'll get us started: Rey's parents ARE nobodies, because she is a clone made from the flesh of Luke's cut off hand.

There you have it. Will bump thread in 2 weeks.

The speculation is that Rey is actually related to the Skywalkers.

In not sure but there has got to be some kind of plot twist.

I had heard that Palpatine / Darth Sdious was going to return but I just heard his voice in a trailer. Maybe it’s just a vision in someone’s head?

I couldn't get in until Saturday. I waited too long to buy my tickets. And I only found one theater with two decent seats in it (not 3D, not along the side) for a matinee time.

I'm staying off the internet on Friday.

Lots of 3D tickets available by me. Nobody wants to see it in 3D. It's a gimmick that failed. 3D movies are always too dark and what they often put in the background is often blurry. Basically 3D movies suck and everyone knows it.

I have never liked seeing movies in 3D. Most theaters give you a panoramic view that makes you feel like you are part of he action.

I found a theater that wasn’t sold out and bought tickets. I will not give the plot away. The movie went above and beyond my expectations. There are lots of surprise twists and turns that I did not expect.
Would I pay to watch this movie again? Heck yesssss! New and old Star Wars Fans will not be disappointed.

Saw it today. Was not disappointed.

Um... so my theory that Rey was a clone made from Skywalker's hand was a little off. Hahah. But at least we got the answer.

Wow what an answer it was! Wondering what her bloodline was. I didn’t expect the answer and neither did Rey!

I have seen all the Star Wars movies, I am a big fan. The last movie was just OK. I enjoyed all the others. One of my favorite quotes from the 1977 movie.......
By Darth Vader “I find your lack of faith disturbing”!

Yea in this last movie they tried to recreate that scene but in a different way.

Yeah, people would have been pissed if the saga had been closed out Lucas style like what he did to 1-3. Overall JJ Abrams did a great job with the end of the series. 1-3 made me want to vomit but 7-9 got me excited about Star Wars again.

Yeah what the hell. There's all these questions unanswered pages popping up and that wasn't listed on any of them but when I left the theater that was the first thing that popped into my mind.

SPOILER ALERT

Fin was going to tell Rey that he was force sensitive. JJ Abrams confirmed, but he also stated that he left it opened ended for people to draw their own conclusions.

Other questions: Why is Palpatine still alive? I mean c'mon did they run out of bad guys for the script? Is Jannah Lando's daughter and what was that scene all about?

SPOLER ALERT

Yes I finally read that Fin was going to say he was force sensitive.

So why so many open ended questions in this movie? Well this IS the final Star Wars Movie but it will not be the final Star Wars story. Disney will make more spin-offs for Disney +.

Yeah, they left cliff-hangers and openings for future episodes! So far, I think Disney has done much, much better job than ANY of Lucas's movies after original '77 Star Wars.

Half the people out there thought Fin was going to say "I love you" to Rey or something. But... I saw the way he was talking to Jannah. Bow chicka bow wow. hahah. Future love story spin-off. With the Force pulling in the other direction. I'm sure Jannah's father (who she doesn't know it's him yet) Lando is going to have to get involved.

Disney, you're welcome to give me a cut of this awesome story I'm putting together for you.

Edit: coming in here with a quick edit: we have speculation that Finn and Jannah may be brother and sister! Eewww, no bow chicka bow wow there! On the other hand, the other theory is that Fin is Mace Windu's kid which would explain the hints of force sensitivity. In that case yeah, get together and have a love story with Jannah.

A popular question these days related to the Ultimate Question of Life, The Universe and Everything seems to be: How many years will cinema goers need to wait to see how the Star Wars saga ends?

42. Wait, let me check my calculations. 1977... 2019... yup.

I saw IV when it came out. I was 10.

I saw it back then as well. While movie tech has improved significantly, I don’t think anything since has made such huge leaps and bounds over previous movies as 1977 Star Wars. Maybe Terminator-2 perhaps...
