Shift arm linkage placement
So I cleaned my chain and sprockets front and rear, and in order to get to the front one I had to remove the shift arm linkage......now to my horror as I was all pleased with myself and went for a ride, only to find out that I did not get the arm back in the same place. I discovered that there are two dots and that they need to be aligned. I did this several times but the shifting still does not feel the same as it did....is there another specific way to align the arm, or just trial and error and go with what feels good.
