Where to find oversized piston rings?
I remember seeing a thread with a website that listed oversized piston rings but can't seem to find it. Can anyone help?

NM, all the overbore kits are 2mm, which is a lot more than an just a rebuild.

First how do you know it's the rings? If the cylinder is just glazed you can hone the cylinder and install new rings. You can get a larger ring and cut your own ring gap if it is that far gone. But the pistons might need to be knerled to stop them from rocking. At that point I would just over bore.

What happen? I am going to guess valves. But pulling the head is a must at 80 psi anyhow. Get the head off. Pull the cams and check the valves for leakage with liquid poured into the chambers. Or pull the cams ad do a leak down test with the cams out carbs and exhaust off.

I have 3 samples I need to send off. I was waiting for them to send me more containers, but I think I'll pick up some stuff here at my lab and use in lieu of theirs.
After the initial analysis, I changed my oil at 2k, and about the interval thereafter.

Looks doable. I'll have to get a quote from my machinist on how much it'll be for a bore and balance. Might as well do a PnP while I'm at it.

Balance is not nessacary. I am spinning the 265 set up to 14000 rpm on nitrous with no problems.
My machenest charged me 100 dollars to do two blocks. He said he should have charged me three hundred but he likes me.

@Racer x, do you have any experience or knowledge with wiseco pistons? I was searching on ebay and found a seller that sells them for $100 per piston kit. Saves me an extra 100 vs going with JE Pistons.

Have not used wiseco on a bike before, but have used them on my eclipse.
In that case, they held up great.

I'll most likely order it if I can rule out stuck piston rings.
