The Tail Trunk Project is completed for the 2008+ Ninja 250R
I finally had the time to finish a project I started about two years ago. There is an introduction and then a presentation of the project details for both motorcycles. The Ninjette II is the last half of the page.

Very nice! Any changes to handling?
Was there any reason why you didnt just mount the bracket directly to the seat pan instead of adding some height w/ the wood??

Very little noticeable handling difference except as noted. Just a little side "sail effect". Tail trunks are designed to fit and mount on racks which typically are level to the ground. The mounting system design includes a raised adapter to level the trunk mounting bracket and assure that the body work of the Ninja 250Rs did not interfere with the operation of the trunk's rear clasp and locking system.

Nice work... I can definitely say you put a lot of work into it and it shows. I've also never seen a front mud flap before... that has to be quite useful for touring. Good job

I would really like to see some pictures of what you have done with yours. I realize we took different approaches as I went with a quick change out arrangement rather than your more permanent " Ninja 250ST" arrangement.
