Carb to Intake rubber boot clap leaking
Hey guys,
I noticed that 1 of the rubber boots that connect the carb to the motor is dirty, looks like it is starting to leak. How do i fix this? Do i just tighten the clap screw? If it needs replacing is it an easy repair? Thanks! Joe Posted via Mobile Device |

Start by trying to snug it down. Clean the area and watch for the same thing again.
You can also spray carb cleaner around the clamp after you snug it down. If the RPMs change when you do it at idle there's still a leak. |
