Footrest dimensions from New Gen to Pre Gen
I can't seem to find a straight answer on whether footpegs/footrest/rearsets built for newgen bikes will fit pregens. Maybe it's for lack of interest, but I am interested nonetheless. If anyone knows what the differencesare in terms of bolt placement, angles, etc.- please share. I will be collecting some measurements from my 2000 ninja as well as a buddy's '08, which I will post here soon.

Truong, you posted in a thread that discusses this earlier this week, but I don't know how much of it you got through:

Right side upper bolt to lower bolt = 6.5cm Left side upper to lower = ~5.5cm The shift mechanisms(linkage, splined toggle, shift lever) are also the same, save for cosmetics. |

Pre-Gen with New-gen rearset adjusters
New info on the subject at hand:
PICTURES Right-side stock rearset with Cycle Control rearset adjuster installed. Left-side stock rearset with adjuster and shift linkage extension Brakelight switch repositioned to the back of third rearset bolt location. (Sorry about the tilted pic. I couldn't get it to work out) Spot where the adjusters contact a frame weld. It's the only indication they weren't meant to go there.

So rearsets for '08+ Ninjettes will fit all Ninjettes. Any questions? (Not being snarky, BTW. I put a good bit of time into this subject and would love to share my findings with everyone.)
