Throttle sticking, need help

Hello everyone, hoping I can get some insight from someone more knowledgeable than me. Just installed a full exhaust, k&n filter and removed snorkel. Rejetted the carb with dynopro 98 main jet and dynopro needles and spacers. The problem is that the throttle is sticking badly now. I have tried every idle adjustment from 2 turns to 4 turns, adjusted the throttle cables at both the carb and the grip multiple times, and made sure that the cables aren't getting hung anywhere. I have read a few places that a lean mixture will cause the throttle to stick, but I wouldn't expect that it would stick this badly. It takes about 4 seconds for the bike's rpm to drop from 5k to idle when reving in neutral. Any ideas from anyone that has gone through a similar issue? I appreciate any help, thanks.

I have lubed the cables and the throttle bracket on the carb returns to the neutral position when I let the throttle grip go, but the revs still fall very slowly. Is it possible that some part of the carb is failing to shut off after throttle? I'm not very familiar with the linkage of the carbs, could it be something with that?

Its probably not the throttle sticking, its an air leak somewhere.
Loosen and resettle the rubber manifolds and also check all the vac hoses on the carbs.

Ok, I will reset all of the hoses and see if that remedies the problem.
