Keihin Needle Spreadsheet

Some of you may be interested in modifying the attached for use with the aftermarket jet kits. Enjoy!

As best I can determine, our carbs fall under the "FCR" column classification in the following chart:

http://www.keihin-us.com/list.htm

It looks like Kawasaki and Yamaha are the only manufacturers using the CVK designation; however, the "K" in CVK normally refers to Kawasaki. The needle sheet for FCR references much larger jets. I'm hoping one of our members (more dedicated than I am) might be able to expand the needle sheet. Meanwhile, I will continue the hunt.

Before I forget, kkim, Merry Christmas to you and yours, along with all our fellow ninjettes on this forum. Last, but not least. we must'n forget that BLACK definitely is FASTER than green!

More Info from Keihin

This pdf confirms our carbs are the FCR type and lists the jets.

merry xmas to you, Sam. Maybe the new year will bring clarity to your senses on which bikes are truly faster. Until then, keep sipping the eggnog to drown your sorrows of having the wrong color bike!
