[American Motorcyclist Association] - Trials riders demonstrate balance, control

Six riders demonstrated the incredible balance and control required of trials riders during demonstrations Saturday at BikeBandit.com AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, featuring Indian Motorcycle, at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course near Lexington, Ohio.

“These riders are almost all teenagers, and they grew up in trials, so they learned the right way to ride,” says Brad Baumert, managing member of Ryan Young Products of Louisville, Ky.

The company is the U.S. importer and distributor of Sherco brand motorcycles.

“We are here to show the basic skills, including effective throttle and clutch control,” Baumert says. “It’s been really good.”
