Ninjette.org rally North Central Thread

Alright following Matt's lead, here's a thread for the North Central peeps. Some come on you Illini and Hoosiers and Wolverines and Badgers Hawkeyes and ...

I suggested Chicago area in the other thread. It's probably a 2 hour ride to some good twisties from there. Someone else said Indianapolis. Actually not a bad idea because there are supposedly some nice twisties South of Indy.

Some come on you guys, throw in some ideas, suggest some dates, and let's get this thing going!

There are indeed some decent roads south of Indy in Brown County. However, they're more than an hour from there. I feel like Indy would be better than Chicago, but I'm equidistant from both, so it doesn't make much difference to me.

I don't know of any great spots, but there are some nice beaches in the south west of MI. Definitely room for cookouts, camping, and some nice sunset shots! The roads in the area are pretty good back in the woods, but I can't think of anything spectacular.

First things first: BUMP!!! haha ok, got that out of my system.

Somewhat bad news: My childhood home was sold and therefore is unavailble for the meet that we have done nothing about haha.So, I'm going to have to retract my offer from before, but I still think that state park would be a good place for the meet.

I've been awol for awhile because my in-laws are in town. They're gonna be here till June 14th so I won't be able to plan or join in any ride until then. But looks like interest is pretty low anyway. So hopefully someone else will pick it up. Otherwise I'll try to jump back in mid-June.

Well, for me... Weekends would be the only time for a Long Trip if i were too come! (det-metro area in Mi.)

I work at a golf course and weekends are pretty much Mandantory! Ive been trying too plan out a trip for me to go visit an Old friend down in hillaird, Ohio. its some 4 1/2 hours, 350 miles to him!

If things totally lined up with Halleys comet, i would love too come! lol
As Chi-town, or anywhere in Indy ive Never been too, so that would be New to me!
As for michigan, (hehe i love we can use our Hands as a Map!

up in Traverse City, its very twisty and hilly, and Beautiful there! That is a long way for even me thou, lol

Im just throwing stuff out there... to get others talking more, Aye? >_<

O yeah I stay in the south suburbs of chicago a group ride would be nice
