Firefox of coarse!
When I was looking for a second browser a while back, Firefox had the most/best reviews. Not only for speed, but as well as the trillions of different little addons you can use to easily tweak it to your likings/usage modes. It also caught a good amount of malware and other nasty s during testing. It also has the nice privacy feature that does not save ANYTHING about your surfing sessions if you turn it on. This is also hehehe commonly referred to PORN mode LOL.
I just feel way to uncomfortable using IE anymore. There's been SOOO many exploits over time on it some that hackers have just loved. Do the research. Check out reviews for yourself and see what you feel comfortable with. |

Mostly Chrome, but I used to use firefox and still have and use it on my HTPC. Both are good, I have just gotten used to Chrome.
IE, I will never use unless they really fix its venerabilities.

used to be hardcore mozilla. got tired of the constant memory leaks. now i use nothing but chrome with the ad-block extension. feels much faster (about as fast as IE if not faster) and i like the styling. most of the chrome themes are pretty decent as well.
edit: oh yeah, IE is a piece of .... with it's gaping vulnerabilities.

Opera. Sometimes slows down a bit, but that's generally only once I've got 20+ tabs open. Love the mouse gestures.

when i was running windows i used to use opera....it's gotten bloated since I used it like 6 or 7 years ago. then I switched to firefox which is solid. when I got my mac, i stuck with safari until chrome came out.... now I use chrome because it's visibly faster than both firefox and safari (at least on my mac)....until it bugs out (which always seems to be when you have something relatively important to submit), then i use safari as my backup

Firefox. It's slower, but internet explorer is about as safe as a condom made of chocolate. Chrome is horrible for casual browsing as it messes up the simplest of pages and I've just never tried Opera. Firefox is tried and true.

Amazing how much ground Chrome has taken in the short time it has been around. I know it works great for me, I virtually never have problems with it.

^Lol I don't think anyone uses IE by choice anymore. I stopped using IE the second I realized I had other choices and they were miles better.
I've been using Chrome since its release. It is by far the best browser for me. Its fast, and basic, no unnecessary fluff. Every now and then I have to use a website that Chrome just won't work for, then I use Firefox as a backup.

Firefox for several years now and I've turned others on to it as well.
As for how many still use IE. Well considering it's built into windows and pretty much the only one allowed on a ready built computers people buy (yay for the microsoft monopoly ) as well as most of those people not being aware there's something better to use it's no wonder it's still got the most users. |

On my personal laptops, Firefox. On my corporate laptops, IE (no choice there). And on my iPod Touch, Safari.

I used Firefox up until a couple of months ago before switching to Chrome. Ohhhh my what a difference! Even on my server Firefox ran like garbage (and not to mention after 3-4 days Firefox would start to gobble up RAM so I'd have to close it every 3-4 days and re-open it). One of my friends showed me this and it's epic LOL

I was using FireFox but added Chrome to give it a test run a couple months back. I had FireFox deleted from all my computers within 3 days of my test of Chrome...

For all those that enjoy the speed of Chrome, you should try upgrading to Chome 5. It's still in Beta, but it's like 20% faster then 4....it's pretty noticeable. On my comp, pages load almost instantly now.

I mainly use FireFox. My computer is messed up at home and it isn't working properly. Some malware found it way onto the computer. I addressed the issue and removed it, but it jacked up my ability to surf the net. I am going to buy a new hard drive and reinstall all my programs on it. Hopefully it will start to work after that. So I surf ninjette using Safari at home. It doesn't work right still, but is better than IE or FF right now. Once the reinstall happens, it will work like a charm again.
I hope it works good enough for me to play WoW. I told a friend that I would log in Thursday so we could run some stuff together.

It's the new Firefox IMO Open-source is the way to go.

I used to feel the same way, but there's a mouse gesture extension for firefox that works equally well, and it never has problems displaying pages properly.

Firefox might get me back if they stop forcing updates...it always happens when I have to get in to a web browser to fix something, and depending which computer I'm on is really slow. |
