Some Updated Pics...

OK I've made a few changes since I posted any pictures up. I've added a new seat cowl, new Bridgestone BT016 tires (150/60 & 110/70), gold powder-coated brake calipers, HEL SS smoked brake lines, full Area P exhaust & exhaust mount, Hotbodies smoked wind-screen, Corbin seat, and "250R" decals.

Of course comments are always welcomed!

The bike looks great. I really like the way the calipers now. They look much better that way.

I'm really interested in doing this too and also doing it to the black part of the rotors. My bike is red so it should look great too.
Could it be possible to send the parts to you to get them powdercoated?

Me and the owner (Frank) had some discussion of possibly others wanting to do this also. He said at that time he would be willing to receive shipments, PC items, and then ship them back. I believe Paypal would be the preferred payment method. I have contacted him to confirm pricing and I should be able to get back to you shortly.

Looks really nice! What brand seat cowl do you have now? What brand did you have before? Thanks.

I bought the seat cowl used but it appears to be a Kawi cowl. I did however have to make some custom adjustments to make it fit as well as it does.

I had the rear seat on it previously. This is my first cowl.

Looks great, Green has allways been my faavorite color for a Ninja 250, I have 4 ex250s, but never found a great deaL on a green one. I know Alex will dispute this, but IMHO the green ones are the fastest.

BTW, What exhaust is that? It looks great Carbon

It's a full Area P 18" Quite Core Carbon Fiber exhaust. Love the sound this pipe makes!

For anyone interested... Frank has advised that his normal caliper price for sandblasting, chemical treatment, and powder-coating is $40 per caliper. He has however agreed to do a caliper set for $60. I really must have got a great deal when I had mine done! Additional discounts may apply if additional parts are sent in with calipers. PM me for contact information.

Thanks again for all the positive feedback!

lol... haven't really had the chance financially lately. I've been considering the larger size rear tire... did you notice any handling differences going all the way up to a 150? I've also been going back and forth about the rear seat cowl... I have the Luimoto seat covers already... but I don't have passengers ever. Also, as mentioned before I like your powder coated calipers, but for me I'd want to purchase an extra set to get powder coated because I couldn't go without riding the bike...lol.

There are other mods in my plans as well... but I'll keep those secret since they weren't inspired by you

I am surprised at how much I like the gold calipers. It is a nice and subtle touch but it does add something to the bike.
