What's the definition of "needs some work?"

Furthermore, what exactly is "good" about not having an engine?

What are you talking about? That is the engine. lrn2oldbikes. Also, that's a CL90, not a Trail 90.

From the looks of it, it might need a tune-up, carb cleaning, and maybe replacing the tires/chain

Here's one that "doesn't need work."

Usually means carb needs rebuilt, but when somebody says that i assume 30% of the bike's worth.

Probably between 75-100. Not sure exactly, but it's a very small displacement single... Think scooter.

No title = parts bike.

Parts bike = no more than $200 for a full sized bike.

Small parts bike = no more than $150 if it has lots of good parts.

If I were you and had some money to spare, I'd offer the guy $125 and try and settle close to $150 for the above reason.
