Holiday give away

First person to post "dibs" in this thread will receive a free Rifleman's 1/5th throttle insert shipped anywhere world wide.

I'll post more about it later in this thread, but for now, just wanted to get this thread out there and rolling.

sooooo if you are interested, and lucky.

GOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

This insert is for personal use or to give to a friend, not for resale. Decision of the judge (that's me) is final.

winner winner, chicken dinner.

shoot me a shipping address in PM.

For those who don't know, this is a modification to the throttle grip that reduces the throw from 92' degrees to 72' (1/5th of a turn).

It may not be as noticeable on the 250/300 as you use the top end of the throttle much more frequently, but on the 600 - 1400 bikes it takes the beast off the chain.

It fits the Kawasaki throttle grip part number 46019-0001 which is most of the 250's and 300's (gen and post gen I think) as well as the ZX-6R, ZX-10R, ZX-14R, and Concourse.

if you aren't sure, I can look it up and confirm it will work on your bike.

so keep your eyes pealed... there will be more later this month.

Yes, that's exactly what this does. Gives you the full range in one twist, one grip.

on the bigger bikes, many don't even use the top of the throttle, it's frickin scary to take the ZX-14r to the pin... So they don't even use the horse power that came with the bike. It's VERY stunning to twist to what your wrist and arm remember as "a good flogg'n" position and find out you have dialed in 20% more "kick to the seat of your pants" and find the front tire hovering a foot off the ground.

on the 250 it really should just make what you already do, much more easy and comfortable to do.

it also seems to make the bike feel more agile, more attached to the pilot, more responsive, more aggressive... but again, that is more noticed on the machines that are snarling and angry already

@Rifleman, very nice thing to do.
It appears we modify our Ninjettes for different goals.

Hmmm something to think about during the off season, though I'm pretty happy with the stock throttle for now. I can definitely see the benefit of Rifleman's mod when one has to go WOT ASAP.

well I'm not giving those away... I did send along a nice Ruger P85 with my daughter when she got her new job (music teacher)...

perhaps Dad is the one to turn to in this situation. They don't like to see their children defenseless.

She can shoot the .44 Mag but prefers the 9mm

thanks.

To each his own, but yes... my bike is my go fast and scare mothers machine. I drive my "cage" like a grandma on her way to church... but the bike, if it isn't growling and pulling my arms straight...I'm not doing it right.

Get a bow and arrow or crossbow, or maybe even a katana. Think about it, burglars are expecting you to have a gun. They're prepared for it. But if you come out all Pulp Fiction with a katana, they're going to shart their pants really hard.

oh trust me, that sound of a shotgun slide wracking closed on some double "aught" buck is a pretty good laxative as well

Right now I can't even hold a 10-pound dumbbell in my right hand.

This thumb's gonna give me hell.
