Any problem with these brake pads?
Looking to replace my rear pads, thought might as well replace the front.
Is the product below OK?? I know some people use EBC sintered but they are really expensive (well, compare to below). http://www.ebay.com/itm/Front-Carbon...74797a&vxp=mtr Are they good enough? Thanks |

Organic is fine for the rear to lessen the chance of locking up the rear (I usually put organic pads in the rear), but don't use organic pads in the front. They have less braking power which isn't a problem for the rear brakes but you want all the braking power you can get in the front. You don't have to buy EBC brakes but at least stick with HH sintered pads for the front. Organic pads would be a downgrade from the stock pads and lord knows the stock brakes aren't that great to begin with.
Brakes are important; don't cheap out on them. EBC is already relatively inexpensive in terms of major brands anyway. |

You need HH sintered pads in the front.
Do your life, your friends, your dad, your mom a favor and buy good pads . Don't cheap out on something that can save your life.

Good pads are 30 bucks. It's not worth it to get cheap pads when the price difference is two meals at mcdonalds.

HH sintered up front. Anything less and your front brake is going to feel awful and probably also be dangerous since you have basically no stopping power.

Who spends $15 a pop at McDonalds?? more importantly, why would you eat that much food? $7 of food is already a heart attack waiting to happen.
Oh yeah, get the sintered pads on the front. Don't cheap out with the cheapy pads. If you're being cheap, you can cheat a little. Get the awesome new sintered pads for the front. I really like Vesrah pads. Then you can use your old front pads on the rear since the newgen uses the same pads from and rear. Less expensive AND you get good brake pads. EDIT: someone correct me if I'm wrong with the same pads thing. |
