This is a great site
Hi,
I've been looking around at a lot of different web site for my first bike. This is for me the best bike specific web site online. You guys give great advice, and there is no fighting on this site. No matter what bike I get, I will continue to come to this site for all the great info for new riders. Great tips on being safe, and finding great starter gear. This is the first site I check after I check my morning email. Thanks for all the great info. |

The other forum I belong to is for guys who cram into volkswagons, paint their faces white with a red rubber nose, and walk on stilts. Nothing but a bunch of clowns on that site.

Agree! LOVE this forum (thank you Alex!)
Also, a 250 is an AWESOME beginner bike to learn on. Many of us love it so much that we consider our 250s an "upgrade". lol! Welcome!

I second the "get a 250 for your first bike". This is my second bike, and I went down in CC's to this ride. I don't regret it one bit either!

Thanks for the welcome.
I'll take the MSF class in a few weeks, and will get a bike at the end of the year. My only concern about the ninja 250 is that I'll have to keep the bike for a few years, and I would like to do a lot of long distance trips. Some of the other bikes that are on my short list are the 2009 Versys, 2009 Gladius, and the 2005-2007 FZ6. |
