Some of Aprilia’s most notable race machines will line up on the Misano circuit, including bikes ridden by Aleix Espargaró and Max Biaggi. (Aprilia/)Aprilia enthusiasts will unite at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli Saturday, May 7, for Aprilia All Stars 2022. This event, which is free and open to the public, will feature appearances by Aprilia racing stars including Max Biaggi, a two-stroke GP motorcycle display, free test rides on roads around the circuit, a parade lap, and the chance to watch Aprilia’s finest racers pilot modern machinery and classic two-stroke 250 GP around the Misano circuit. Aprilia will also give away a Tuono 660 in a free raffle.

The gates open at 9:30 a.m., and participants will be welcomed by music from the Italian stations Radio DeeJay and electronica m2o, along with a live performance by Albertino.

Racing fans will have the opportunity to meet and get autographs from Aprilia Racing’s Aleix Espargaró, Maverick Viñales, and Lorenzo Savadori, along with Aprilia champions of the past, including Biaggi, who will be inducted into the MotoGP Legends Hall of Fame ahead of the Italian Grand Prix at Mugello in May. The “Roman Emperor” holds six world titles: four straight in 250cc World Championships (1994–1997) and two in World Superbike (2010, 2012).

After answering questions from the audience, the Aprilia racing stars will lap the 16-corner, 2.957-mile circuit on notable machinery: the RS-GP, the RSV4, select models from the Aprilia Sport Production 250 Italian Championship, and the exclusive Tuono X, which Aprilia calls “the world’s lightest and most powerful production naked.”

Racing legend Max Biaggi and Aleix Espargaró will take to the track on some notable Aprilia championship-winning motorcycles. (Aprilia/)Vintage two-stroke GP fans will get an extra treat during Aprilia All Stars 2022 with an exhibition of the Aprilia two-stroke racebikes that dominated the former 125 and 250 classes of the World Championship.

In the press release, Aprilia says, “Bikes that will be taken on track to mark the 30th anniversary of the very first Aprilia world championship title, scored by Alex Gramigni in 1992. Bikes that have remained in the hearts of every fan and become legendary, like the all-black RSV 250 with which ‘corsair’ Biaggi ruled the world championship in the ‘90s, Loris Capirossi’s number 65 bike, the 125 with which Valentino Rossi won his first title, and the 250 that saw Manuel Poggiali crowned world champion. Bikes that can be admired up close by the public in a lineup on pit lane.”

Aprilia’s finest racers will make some noise while piloting exclusive GP machinery around the Misano World Circuit. (Aprilia/)The action continues off the track. Free test rides on the latest in Aprilia’s lineup will be available, including the RS 660, Tuono 660, Tuareg, and Tuono V4. Professional riders will lead the groups on the roads around Misano Circuit.

Besides the motorcycle racing stars and free test rides, participants can also ride their personal motorcycles during a parade lap around the circuit.
