So someone backed into my motorcycle, knocking it down last Wednesday. Luckily the person responsible let me know and we're settling this through his insurance. Going to take the settlement to use as a down payment to upgrade to an SV650.

Lesson learned folks, make sure you have comprehensive insurance as a hedge, and be careful how you word things to the insurance company. That way you won't get shafted. Learn their rules and play by it to protect yourself and your interests, but don't be a **** and commit fraud.

Well, I guess my first motorcycle I bought I had a payment plan of sorts. My mom's boyfriend bought me a YZ250F. I paid it off by working the whole summer for him learning how to build and install fence. Plus various other tasks around his house. Decks, gutters, welding, landscaping, fixing equipment, etc.

My street bikes I worked for, saved my money and bought outright. My first bike was $600, and my Ninja I bought for $500, so it wasn't too hard.
