Any benefit to handlebar risers only???

Like the title says, if you lower the front end (raise handle bars) but don't lower the rear, will that help turn in speed/control at all? It's my biggest problem. Well that and I'm still on stock muffler so I sound like an angry lawnmower lol.

Control as you feel like you are going to fall, going to go wide, going to lock up the brakes, or is it just not comfy at any speed?

Well I have never to date braked in a turn (knock on wood) and I don't feel like I'm gonna fall, I guess it's just my 748 has a much more aggressive angle and stance and it seems to dive into turns really well (no I'm not comparing a track bike to a commuter bike) so I was curious if lowering the front would help it dive into turns a lil better. I guess what I mean by control is I'm used to the 748 almost guiding itself through turns like it's on rails and I'm just trying to see how to tweek the 250r to handle SIMILAR, not the same, I know they are two very different bikes.

You can either spend a bunch on a new front end or buy another 748 and paint it green.

If you are riding a 748 and are asking about control you are not riding a 748. You are probably just sitting on it and going around the track.

Thanks KKIM, that was helpful, pretty much answered my question. And um......not too sure what cc cowboy is laughing at, I guess he is one of those ducati haters or something. I honestly don't understand what cc is talking about but I'm glad they found amusement in the thread, laughing every day is healthy........not sure what else to say. Flame on man, but there is really nothing that can be said bad about that bike, I know I own one. If you are trying to say something about my riding, well that's just dumb! You don't even know me! But I guess thanks for your attention and comment. Possitive and negetive are welcome I suppose. But let's try to stay on topic. I'm talking about the ninja, not the superbike.
