Not upgrading yet!

Having 5k miles on my belt, I've been contemplating on upgrading to a 600cc. A buddy let me borrow his CBR600rr for a weekend - its a beast alright. BUT, i still feel that the ninjette is still more pleasant to ride, handling is sweet and very forgiving, not to mention the friendly riding posture. I just can't see the fun in riding if you just end up holding back bec your too scared of the beast under your crotch! but thats just me..

holding back is not fun, but going balls deep all day can get you in trouble.

don't limit yourself to one bike. keep the 250, then buy a 600. don't forget the 800s. they are torquey. and the 1000s are great, so responsive.

sounds like your next bike should be a SV650

I second the SV comment. I have a 800cc 125hp bike that is very light. It is a handful. I enjoy riding it but I have more fun on the smaller machines.

650R has a similar feel to the 250R with more power.
