Got a gift in the mail

Got a gift in the mail yesterday, atleast thats how it was wrapped. Should have taken a picture first, but I had no idea what it was till I opened it.

My Xrace rearsets. Got a good deal on these, don't know much about them other then what I read here doing a search. I'll post up pics after install.

I bought em off someone who bought em didn't want em. Paid $150 I believe they sell for around $250

They are a certainly more aggressive then stock. I moved em as for forward and as low as they go after I took those pictures. They are still about 3 inches further back and about an inch higher than stock. But feel great!!

Does that make it more comfortable or just forces you to be in more of an aggressive riding position?

Gives it more of a sport bike feel, which is the only type of bike i've ever owned. So, to me it's more comfortable. Works really well with the clip-ons.

Went for a longer ride today, about 30 miles. Felt very comfortable. A better riding position in my opinion.

I have a roll of carbon fiber vinyl with me, can I use that to cover the side panels? I'm worried it may not work due to the textured finish of the panels...

There is one other Candy Lime Green 250 in my immediate neighborhood. I see him from time to time.

As far as the exhaust, it's Tyga. I did get it from Tyga USA http://tygausa.com/ before they stopped selling them. But you can still get them here http://tyga-performance.com/site/ind...6fb3df8111a8ef

Kind of hard to see but here is what I did. I attached a spring (not the original one) to the bolt that holds the mechanism for the brake light, to the bolt that holds the spring for the brake light.

works pretty well

I'm going to be attempting to install this soon... Where did you pick up this spring at? Is there a specific size/tension I should be looking for?

Also, for the bolt which you connected the springs to... its only purpose is to retain the spring's clip? are you just supposed to tighten it with the nut all the way down? Like this:

Thanks

The bolt I used to hold the spring is the bolt used to hold the mechanism for the brake light
