I'll have to try it out. That pale gray housing with the faded pink button really take away from my ridiculous paint job

Once you learn where/how to look out of them yes. They came with my bike. You cannot see directly behind you, which you can't with stockers either. I love the wide angle they give because I can see someone in the next lane over who is passing. You can also see upcoming headlights on the road at night too. I didn't like them at first until I got used to them. They also have additional turn signals up front, and led's around the glass that light up at night when you signal.

The glass says www.stmachine.com on them, so check that out!

Definitely, we try to go once a week if not more. We were able to get in a nice 200 mile ride through the FL back country today. Gotta love it.

haha yeah I found out that it's pretty easy to kill the battery when playing with a new headlight, only takes about 20 minutes. Go figure. So I jumped it off a lawnmower battery and it worked just fine.

In retrospect, I should have moved the battery before the picture was taken.
@akima, those are just training wheels! I hadn't ridden in a while, so it was back to riding like a newb.

I'm guessing "training wheels" is your term for stabilizers, ie these:

no chone! your bike is an example to everyone of what a perfectly clean pregen should be if it's taken care of religiously and the only mods are tasteful keeping in line with the original vision of the bike.

I would guess, hybrid = pregen with front and rear conversions to newgen.

Don't forget his 300 motor. So pregen frame, 300 motor, and newgen/300 suspension and wheels?

I wouldn't go minimalist unless I crash and ruin the plastics. Even then, I'd go ask Chris's friend Seti for some tips on fairing repair. Word on the street is he's pretty good at that.

I want a 300 at some point. Or one of them newfangled Yami's that are in the rumormill. Or whatever small sport bike KTM has in the works. Or or or or or!!!! I want all the motorcycles!

I did crash and ruin my plastics but fixed them by merging a newgen front end. I wanted the updated light, mirrors and I got a touring shield too .

Mutt Ninja 250

Sorry I shouldnt have said hybrid earlier. Meant that its a pregen frame and fairings, mixed with newgen 250 front end, and zx12 front fender (currently working on that), ninja 300 motor, and ninja zx600 rear shock

Here are some pics. Work in progress still. I already got the lower fairing on with some cutting and working to make the front fender fairing fit. Let me know what you guys think. Ninja 300 motor is pretty nice for sure

Glad to hear you're sticking with the small displacements. I feel kinda sad when ninjetters buy giant, heavy supersports; it's like they've left us!

I'm totally prejudice though. I've never ridden anything bigger than a 500CC standard. All the things I love about my ninja are worse on bigger bikes though. I love that it's light. I love that I can work it hard even on a ride to work. I love that it's quite a raw bike - simple - breaks, engine, throttle and not many robots in between. I love that it gets pretty good fuel mileage despite the fact that I'm heavy on the throttle and heavy on the breaks.

I'm jealous of how the scooters can more easily nip between cars and tight spots than I can. It must be a nightmare on bigger bikes.

I think the only thing that draws me to the bigger bikes is the sounds. MMmmm

>=D been waiting for a thread like this!

This is what that horrible PO did to her,

Look how bad they treated her Q_Q

I pulled all this crap out of her,

it was strobe lights that went on and off at random...

so i took off all the tacky barb wire stickers and extra vinyl and polished her up.

replacing all bulbs with halogens and tenting the horrible yellow stained head light

it even came with a handy untraceable license plate that i got pulled over for

a lil elbo grease and now she is feeling better

Wife with the "why the fudge are you making me do this" face

like the new color alot better!

so after i got some time i wired 255 green leds, and repainted her.

also got custom vinyl cut in kawi green.

The lights look awesome

After a while i got bored and i added green accents.

And now, she is still kicking ass, even tho her bottom cowl finally fell apart Q_Q

@7oxSin
DAMN, you took an ugly bad looking pregen and turned it into something beautiful and there's more to that than just the meh yellow paint scheme.

This thread makes me simultaneously miss my pregen and give me ideas for what to do if/when I get the engine running again I kind of want it street legal on top of being a track bike so I can teach friends how to ride that want to get into riding.
