Aftermarket solo seat cowls

OK, we know that Indonesia has had some for a while and ztrack157 brought us the Sportisi one, but I still wonder why no manufacturer is milking the US market considering the high price of the OEM one and the low availability of the Sportisi one (and, well, it doesn't match stylistically).

Well, this doesn't change much.

!BYNSjb!CGk~$(KGrHgoH-CoEjlLl)2U9BKgVmpmYDQ~~_12.jpg

It a sportier Greek cowl at about half the price, though painting and shipping kills it (available in non-matching black-only; almost $20 USD shipping). Not for me because I hope to get a few things from ztrack157, but I just thought I'd make you all aware!

Well, I'm still hoping you can come through on the Ducati-style ducktail, so I wouldn't have much use for it then. Thanks for the offer though.

The paint costs so much for CP Blue that I'd rather kill three birds with one stone... no need for an undertail, fender eliminator, or cowl with the ducktail (all three were on my "want" list)!

So, any word on availability yet? I'm willing to wait as long as it takes... unless it just isn't coming.

It's unpainted and I think he was hoping I could paint and review it (I had expressed that interest to him before). I will be ordering and reviewing other products of his though. Remember, he had it shipped from Indonesia, so it's not like it's that cheap even if he's offering it publicly.

I'm offering it cause I have no use for it and buyers backed out multiple times on it and the black one I have sitting in my room. I probably won't order anymore of them.

Start the bidding at a penny and see how much interest it gets, which would be quite a bit, I'm sure... once people start biddiing, they think HARD about if they really want it and for how much... it's why you see people increase their bids after being outbid instead of just bidding what they were willing to pay in the first place. It's the perfect item for an auction-format eBay listing. Make sure to say that it is exclusively imported by you and very unique in this part of the world.

I really like the cowl in the pic.......except for the screw bit on it. I would love a cheap Indo copy of the airtech EX250 Super Race Tail. It's $261 US (postage included) to get it to Oz which isn't really that bad.

If they make a street upper, why don't they make a street tail?

Yup. He wants me to look at his exhaust hanger (gladly). Of course, I'll write all about the ducktail too, if I can get one, even if it's not his normal Sportisi product.

I just realized that this fits over the original passenger seat like the Airtech one for the pre-gen. Neat, but that makes it even less worth the price they're asking.

Looks like it's finally happening. $42.99 shipped for an OEM copy with a perfect match for 2008 CP Blue? Nice. Seller says that they are painted to order and in stock unpainted, so these are not likely to be OEM.
