I sure hope not....I really liked the 2006 but the fact that I couldn't do anything too it took half the fun away. I mean riding is the 50% or owning the bike, its the other 50% blowing money on upgrades and parts to make it "MINE" is what I missed

Either way...I bought the 2006 for $2300 rode it for just under 1000 miles over the past 2 months and sold it for $2600...not a bad deal

Talking

Well the guy that was going to sell me the blue 2010 Ninja 250 with 6000 miles on it for $3,000 didn't end up calling me before it was to late to travel downtown in Friday night traffic.

BUT

I found a guy on Craigslist that had a 2009 Ninja 250 with 4,900 miles for the same price of $3,000. This bike was red and came with a DOUBLE BUBBLE, a K&N air filter and flush mounts!! Yah...I bought the red one

I can't believe the difference in the old and new gen...no turning back now!! LOVE THE NEW GEN!!!!

My knees (Being 6 foot 4) do end up being higher on the tank with the new gen, but some rear set adjusters (I think thats what they are) can help with this.

So here is my list of wants.

Rear set adjusters
LED taillight with turn signal integration
Slip on Exhaust
Wider rear tires...maybe in 3,000 more miles i will do this one. Stock tires seem fine right now

Oh and the best part of tonight...I FINALLY heard the meowing noise you guys have all been talking about with the gas cap! Funny ****...my wife seriously thought it was a cat in the garage

Those flush mounts are so flush that I question their usefulness.

Yah they are actually set way to far in...I am replacing those this week with something more visible. Nice catch though

I feel ya but I question the stock indicators and assume they don't see em.

Nice bike and tail update! I dig it.

Was this plug and play or some wire cutting involved?

Entirely plug and play! I also use their "Blaster-X" switch and flasher relay. I installed the blaster-x switch into the left side control module. See pic...

Totally off-subject........Whats that bar u have installed across your windshield for ? Im guessing structural integrity (keep front from buzzing ?) but I think it looks like a good place to mount gps haha.

I need to move my gauge-set from it's current location to better clear the clip ons. The bar is part of the plan to create an upper mounting point. It's a work in progress. I want to get the clip ons an inch or two lower but I can't until I move the gauge-set up and forward.

I made it from 3/4 aluminum tubing: radiused, flatened ends, drilled holes, used stock bolts which happened to be long enough to connect it all!
