suggestions needed

how do I apply rim tape if I don't have a front stand?
Jack up the bike?

Just try and get the bike as vertical as possible. Try and put a piece of wood or something sturdy underneath the side stand. Jacking it up sounds like a good idea.

it would make it easier with a stand, but i did it the way she described. mine came in 4 sections of curved tape to a rim. i did one section, rolled the bike forward, and did the next section, etc.

i did it the same way as well... just take your time... had to get down on the ground and just lay there as i guided each piece.... but makes it look a whole lot cooler with the rim stripes...

yea, the front wheel was a pain for me too without a stand but bearable. I merely put a brick under the kickstand, applied a strip on each side, rolled it a bit forward and repeated this process.
