2008+ Ninja 250 Carburetor Screw size, allen screw size!
I am posting this because I was only able to find 1 thread about it on this site but the answer was in the 3rd page and was a "maybeish" theyll wok kind of answer.
I was curious as to which screw size replace the 8 JIS screws on the carburetors. I bought JIS screwdrivers and they still striped. I used a bolt extractor to get most of the screws off and replaced with the following from home depot 8 M4 x16mm .7 pitch Home depot only had 6 of the 16mm I was able to use 2 M4x20mm for the other 2. (12mm was too short!) .54 cents per 2, so $2.16 for all 8 screws, it beats paying 10 bucks or more on the web. Are these the screws that go on top of the carb? Like when u take off the seat and you have a top view of the carbs.
