Brake caliper rebuild help

Okay so I am having trouble getting the larger piston out of the brake caliper. The small one pops out just fine but the larger one will get about half way and stop. I've already put the small one back in and put in some more brake fluid because I think they need to come out at the same time. I'd take some pliers to it but I don't want to damage it. I've tried holding the small piston in to get more pressure behind the larger piston but no go. At least this explains the binding I was having.

Edit: Nevermind got them both out and cleaned everything. Still getting weird sound at slow speed from the front which is what I was trying to fix. Brakes work well though. Swapping the brake disc out tomorrow. So bummed right now.

Okay sorry to bump my own thread but as it turns out it's not my front brakes making the noise at all but my chain. It seems my chain is not in the best shape in the cush drive may need some love to. I had to roll down the street without my helmet on to really hear it and hit the kill switch. Feel like jackass but it's nice to finally know where it's coming from.

if your cheap you can just throw some inner tube bits to shim up the cush drive. 2005 is almost 10 years old but my 01 cush drive isn't super bad. i would get a grunge brush, clean the chain and oil it and see what happens first.

the more specific question is what kind of noise are you hearing?

Cleaned, lubed, and adjusted the chain. The noise sounded like metal rubbing on metal but not necessarily grinding. I thought for sure it was the brakes kissing the rotor but nope. After working on the chain the noise is gone. I'll shim the cush drive when I get some stands later this month. Thanks.
