How to test coolant temp sensor?
I thought i had both the base service manual and the supplement, as thats how the files are labeled....but it turns out theyre both the supplement! Oh no!
Does anyone know the procedure for testing the temp sensor? I need proper resistance and all... thanks in advance. |

Testing is pretty simple. Use a pot of water on the stove, thermometer in the water, temp sender probe portion in the water. Use an ohm meter, hook onto the lug and sender body. Start heating the water....
I dont have the resistance numbers handy for the older model, Iam sure there pretty close to the new gen 122 deg F 210 Ohms 240 deg F 21 Ohms |
