A little taste of mud

Severe storm hit hometown yesterday, tons of water and hail, cuased flooding (worse out in the country where i live) on many streets and bridge, plus looks like we got hit with tornado strength winds (havent read the news yet so cant say exactly). Trees were pulled out, many telephone poles were snaped in half and from what ive seen a trailer home was obliterated and scatered all over the roads and fields. I was out of town when it happened, but on the ride back home i got to deal with the aftermath. Which lead me to have a short but very very unpleasant ride in the mud LOL took pic when i got home, glad i dint get stuck!

Unfortunately no i wasnt thinking of posting pics got to keep the site in mind next time lol. Just took the pic to send to my sis but should have taken more. Gave it alittle wash down, tons of mud under stock fender and next to shock, plenty of mud on rear brake too. Was using my feet like skis it was hilarious. Thats not tasting, more like swimming! Did the bike make it out?

Holy hell. How is the bike ever clean and properly functional again after that?! I guess dual sports are designed to take it...

Bike made it out no problem, just hard to operate the bike with mud allover your face.

Nothing like a little powerwash.. but those are dirtbikes, not dual sports.
This one time I needed an ATV to pull me out of the mud:

Just 1/2 from my driveway, no need for transporting the dirt bike to get to the trails.

I've ridden swamps before, but never a radioactive swamp!
Let's ride!
