Look at this nerd (Me)

So as many of you know, I got a gixxer 750. Refer to this thread
http://www.ninjette.org/forums/showthread.php?t=107278

I love it, yes it has an extended swingarm ( I just ordered the chain adjuster brackets on ebay so I can return it to stock) The purple decals are gone and so are the purple grips, also so are the spiky screws that hold on the windscreen and the tank protector has been replaced with a normal black one.

So here is me dicking around on it a little. The launches could use a lot of work, I hate the way the clutch is setup so that needs major adjusting. I also need to work on holding on and opening up the throttle all the way, all these G-forces hit me and I never up the throttle all the way because I'm scared shitless. This bike scares the hell out of me, the car pass is to show how easily this bike will pass someone when its cruising around 4k rpm. Just some fun stuff, go ahead, hate me!

I don't see the point to this thread, the video link just needs to be merged with your thread in the Ex-Ninjetters Lair.

You're gonna kill yourself.

This is exactly why I won't let myself get a 600+cc SS. I know I wouldn't be able to control my right hand.

Be safe out there!

Please be careful on those country highways with lots of driveways and side-roads intersecting them. Some Billy-Joe-Jim-Bob will turn out in front of you and your new bike will become a paperweight in .0003 seconds. Not that you'll care because you'll be 6-feet under, or a vegetable. Save the speed for roads that don't have a lot of adjoining side roads.

Windscreen screws changed, grips changed, decals removed, waxed and cleaned, now I have a spanner wrench, master link, chain breaker and chain adjuster blocks on the way to remove the swingarm.

Yeah I'd like a smoke or black one, but that will come after the swingarm comes off.

So, why is there a picture of Jigsaw on the bike? Is it because it feels like torture to have to ride that thing?

Heres a more recent picture

Hopefully I'll be able to do the removal Saturday My sister's friend works for a vinyl decal company so hopefully I'll be able to get some cool stuff on the black/red theme.
Also! I had the dealer look up the chain price... it's a top of the line race chain, $280 bucks!!

You are quite condescending! What part of the video shows that I can't corner btw?? Secondly, I don't remember the exact model number, but it was THE most expensive chain that we saw in the book lol. It was labeled as a race chain

Who makes the chain? "race" means nothing, pretty sure d2moto makes a "race" chain

$280 is A LOT for a chain, Im running an ERV3 DID 520 chain, thats a true race chain (AMA guys use them all the time) and it was only $190

Yeah your launches fail and nice missed shift at 1:55. I think you're too focused on showing off for your camera and you'll be better off riding without it. Good luck. Looks like you need it.
