I'm loving the "SE" look on the red. I say go for the whole package.

you're welcome. well the red is unique and it isn't for everybody.
there was another thread/post that i remember seeing, but i can't find it. it actually doesn't look too bad in the pictures i posted, but i am pretty conservative so i would personally go with a smoked... |

Mine isn't a Puig, it's a ZG, but when I first conceptualized it, I wanted a dark smoke. Then I saw it on a bike, and it was wayyyy too dark. It was, well, it stood out, but not in a good way. It was like a piano black, didn't work with the bike - darker than the tires, black side panels, etc. The light smoke is perfect for me. And at 6'2", never will I look through the screen while riding.
And like Snake, I have had zero issues with my ZG. I love it, so much so that when I gave Kawi feedback on those surveys, I stated that a DB windscreen should be standard. Without it, the 250 was unridable for me at 60mph+. |

My vote goes to light smoke. I don't really dig the red on red, but if you like it go for it!

Yay for the smoke..... and with your own dark features... will set it off just as sexy as those pictures above! Also remember, if you want to part out your aftermarket parts later on, red screens are hard to get rid of. The guys jump better on the smoke, blacked out type screens. Just an easier sell all-round.
Yes Rick... remember the pink issues... so not "cool"! That red on red screen just doesn't look cool at all, it rather cheapens it imo. |

either light or dark smoke. you want to be able to see through it still.

I vote for the dark smoke! My hubby has the ZG one on his and it looks really good. He hasn't had any issues with melting instruments either

I got a smoked ZG double bubble windscreen, I like being able to see through it a little bit but that is just how I am.

I have a Puig light smoke on mine and prefer it to the look of a dark smoke. But then again, my bike is black. I do like the contrast of dark smoke + red.
I felt like there was a bit of manhandling needed in order to get the holes on the windscreen to match up with the holes on the bike. It wasn't a "perfect" fit, but it was workable. |
