I like how the guy on the car forum thinks it's fast. And with his questions you can act modest and tell him, "I'm not insane enough to risk going super fast so I keep it under 100 MPH." HE HE HE

Love the bike! Where did you get the shifter levers for the clutch pedal from? Those look so much more beefy than stock. Do you have any pictures of your body postioning with the clipons and rearset adjustment? I'd like to see how much more aggressive it looks.

The shift lever for the clutch is from Woodcraft. I bent my stock lever into what looks like a mangled piece of aluminum foil.

No pics yet. Sometime this week I'll have someone take some pics with me on the bike.

Did you have to modify the stock rearset to use the woodcraft shifter pedal?

No I didn't have to modify the stock rearset for the Woodcraft shifter pedal. Just remove the bolt holding onto the stock shifter pedal, take out the stock pedal, put the new pedal in, and put the bolt back in. Suuuuper easy :-D

Have you lowered the bike or changed the suspension? It looks like its more level that most i have seen. I thought they were more raked, but it might be the angle.

Nope, I didn't change the suspension. Must be the angle which the picture was taken :-)

Hi Michelle,

I love the modifications - especially the shifter pedal. I want to pick one up but the guys at wood craft said you needed the new rearset...

I'm not posting to challenge what you've done - I just want to know exactly what pedal model you bought so I can place an order!!

Thanks!

I don't remember which pedal I bought, but from what I remember, there was only 1 available for purchase on the Woodcraft website. It fits perfectly fine without new rearsets. Maybe they're just trying to upsell? When I get home tonight, I'll see if I can find the receipt and see if they listed a model#.

Sweet! Any help would be appreciated.

Also - anyone else using a shift pedal that's a quick swap for the stock?

The woodcraft rear sets come with or without pedals. They can use the stock pedals if you want to. I got the sets with new pedals but you can buy all the pieces alone. Here's a link to the woodcraft site and the "spare parts" listing. Click the spare parts tab under the picture.

Now, even though the oem pedals might work w/ the woddcraft rear sets, I think the woodcraft site says that the woodcraft pedals won't work on the oem brackets.

Yea - I need a new shifter and was hoping to find something a little sexier than the OEM shifter. The WC shifter on Michelle's bike fits that bill for me.

Really, I'm interested in any shifter that I can fit without having to mess with the rear set.

Thanks,
Brian

Edit to add:

The CFM 3 piece shift pedals feature a hard anodized/Teflon coated pivot for smooth, long lasting operation. The pivot is extremely tough and will rarely break in the event of a crash. The main replacement shaft and lever tip are both individually replaceable and are far less expensive than an OEM pedal.

These trademark CFM pieces are not only economical, but are also very easy to replace-saving time during a quick repair. However, you may not even need to replace them as we have seen our main shafts bent to nearly 90 degrees and back several times before breaking……try THAT with your OEM pedal!!

This pedal will NOT work on OEM brackets.
