FS: 2004 ninja 250 in Sonora, CA (never crashed) ready to ride

Ok so I'm helping a fellow racing friend get the word out on her awesome Pre-gen she has for sale. Sounds like a a great deal for someone looking for an unscathed pre-gen. The only reason she's selling it is she got a CBR500 recently.

Here's the info she forwarded to me

2004 Ninja EX250R, 19,062 miles current registration. Never been crashed! K&N Airfilter and adjustable levers. $1,800 OBO. Clean title. Call or text 209-six-nine-four -5332, located in Sonora

It has a small scratch on the tank from me trying to clean it, to apply a new tank protector (how ironic is that?)
I did NOT drive it through winter, but I already cleaned the carbs and at the same time changed the stock air filter to a K&N.
Breakfluids were replaced and front and back lines bled just a couple of days ago. Bike is stock, no changes in jetting or anything else. I wasn't going to sell it, except Robert hated that it was carburated and he ended up buying me the 500. Unfortunately I need to now sell the Ninja for the money. It's been a great bike for me
I will go back out and take pics of the scratch on the tank and look for any others

We sent it to Stockton for a complete overhaul last year including valve inspection. I will see if I still have the paperwork.

What happened, why did it need an overhaul? or is that just misunderstood for sending it to them for some needed maintenance?
Thanks, Tony

Nothing had happened, we just wanted to have "clean slate" and have a professional go through the entire bike, make sure everything was good.

Yes, I was thinking you could send it back after a track day with your listing friend Jason.

I'm in Sonora - about 2.5 - 3 hrs from you. If you are interested, I am sure we can arrange something. Maybe meet half way?

I wish I had the time to get it, and space to keep it

I'm thinking about another one for myself once one or 2 leave, and a fly and ride would be awesome!
