Ninjette Forum Appreciation Thread

So over the last few weeks, I'd been researching bikes.. ended up surfing over here from kawiforums and you guys have been a huge help, just reading people's experiences, what not to do, common mistakes, mods, everything.

Too many disparate threads to name names, but the the result is another blue ninja on the roads, picked it up today.

This forum is a great resource and I can actually participate in threads now that I've got my wheels. Keep on being awesome, everyone.

I'm looking for boots, but I don't want Timberlands or construction boots.. these are high tops and reinforced with leather on the inside (extra sown in), so its ok for now.

Boot/riding shoe recommendations that I could actually walk around in would be welcome though.

Here's a few suggestions for riding shoes that I was deciding between. I went with the Shift racing shoe (just ordered so I haven't gotten it yet).

Shift Racing fuel street shoes.

Sidi Doha Boot.

Alpinestars S-MX 1 riding shoes.

Alpinestars Octane riding shoes.

Soon maybe.. I'm trying to decide if its worth the 350 bucks. I know its not going to make a difference in HP that much, but does it really matter for throttle response?

I'll take some pictures of it soon for you. It's not a bad one, I got it for around 50$ because the tag was mislabeled (the size was wrong on the tags so it was on clearance) but I really want this one :

unfortunately, what little hp you gain is what little extra throttle you're gonna get from it Otherwise it's always good for looks and sound.

Shimming the needles, though, is gonna give you more of a throttle response if that's, indeed, what you're looking for.
