Build Your Own T-REX?

I went on the Campagna motors site. I saw that the engine was a Kawasaki 1400cc 4 cylinder inline engine. So, I'm guessing a ZX-14R engine. Now, the trike is insanely priced (53k?!?!?). So, has anyone ever though about building one, so that they could have the power of the cycle but on three wheels (I'm aware that it is probably slower).

It even looks like a ZX-14R (just focus on the back end, and look at the exhaust).

Picture of Engine

Could you possibly buy a frame for cheap, then install everything else yourself? I'm sure that they're overpriced.

I wouldn't do it, but it's possible. Seems like a waste of money, though.
Also, for the asking price of an actual T-Rex, which sane person wouldn't get a Caterham or an Ariel Atom instead?

you do realize that outside of the plain-jane can, it looks absolutely nothing like the zx14 right?

For all those doubting the T-rex, a buddy of mine back in cali had one, and i can just say WOW. The thing is so ridiculously fun, and quite nimble. Its definitely not in anyway like a motorcycle, that's like comparing apples to grapes.
But what if you compare it to grapples?

You could make mini T-Rex Like a go-cart with three wheels.

I like the KTM X-Bow better than the Atom or T-Rex. All that carbon is sweet.

I wouldn't put a ZX-14 engine in it. There is such thing as to much power!

To much power on a go-cart will just make you tires spin.

I'd consider it. They're cheaper than the T-REX. But as I recall, they cost as much or more than the ZX-14.
