This has already been addressed there are multiple ways to correct someone. Everyone else corrected her in a respectful manner avoiding being a sarcastic ass. You did not.

No her opinion was that he was mean. That is an opinion based on an observation. While is was from an uneducated standpoint, one could still argue he was not being nice or he was being mean. I attacked YOU for being a dick. Because, you are in fact, being a dick.
